This is a reminder for our second injury prevention workshop that will be hosted at Fitness Specialists in Palatine on May 13th at 7 PM.  There was so much valuable information to cover during the first workshop that we didn't have the opportunity to delve into how to do a dynamic warm-up or many of the other topics we had wanted to discuss. It's not necessary to have been to the first workshop to come and learn at the second.  We hope you'll join us so that you learn how to train right and stay injury free!

Bill Phan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as a licensed massage therapist.  Bill has over 20 years experience assessing and training functional strength, stability, and core conditioning. Dr. Clark is a Chiropractic Sports Physician specializing in the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. He is also a sports performance trainer who has worked with numerous professional teams, elite level college and high school athletes as well as many recreational athletes.

Registration/check-in begins at Barrington High School on Sunday, May 16th at 7AM.  Our group will meet in the BHS parking lot and we'll be departing at 8AM.

We just learned that the route takes all riders ~15 miles to the Lakewood rest stop before we break off into the different groups depending upon which distances we've chosen.

Please go to http://www.cyclearlington.com/events/a500_10/ah5002010.pdf  to print and mail in the registration.  It is $10.00 if you print/mail in the form and payment before May 8. You can also register the day of the ride, but the cost goes up to $15.00.

There's no better way to build confidence for road riding than riding on the road.  Let's make a strong Ytri showing!

Weather on Sunday is predicted to be partly cloudy and highs in the 60's.  Great weather for a long ride!!
